Every festival, holiday and astronomy article is checked against at least one primary source, such as a government holiday notification, a published panchang or an eclipse catalogue. Calculated data is described on the Data Sources page.

Who writes

Articles are written and reviewed by our editorial team. The author is named on each post.

Updates and corrections

When dates change, we update the article and the "last updated" date. Significant corrections are noted at the end of the article. Report errors through the Contact Us page.

Entertainment tools

The love calculator, compatibility quizzes and zodiac pages are for entertainment only. They do not predict real relationships and should not be used to make decisions.

Religious and cultural content

We describe festivals and rituals respectfully and note regional differences. Observance dates can differ by community; we recommend confirming with your local temple, gurdwara, mosque, church or priest.
